I was deployed as part of OIF III from Nov 04 to Nov 05. After leaving the active service I joined the National Guard and served here in Pocatello with the 148th FA. From basic I was stationed in Ft Clayton, Panama and was there for 3 years. I jumped into the military straight out of HS and completed my Basic and AIT at Ft Benning GA, becoming 11B (Infantryman) qualified. The room hadn't been cleaned yet after my stay on Friday night through Sunday morning but no one saw the sweatshirt. Not only did the front desk attendant not try to do what she could but I had to ask her to check in several times with housekeeping to see if they checked the room yet.
I had to stand at the counter for 30 min in silence. Housekeeping didn't even rush or make an effort to get to the room quickly to check. The girl at the front desk was too busy texting to make it a priority to help me. I came back on Sunday because we stayed in the hotel Friday night. Not only did we not get the room we booked ahead of time due to NO kings available because they weren't clean, but after checkout I accidentally left behind a 50.00 sweatshirt. Private parking is possible on site for free. Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel for free. The restaurant Sandpiper Restaurant is situated merely 150 metres from this Pocatello hotel. Eat & Drinkīreakfast is served in the restaurant. Featuring a roll in shower and a separate toilet, the bathrooms also have hair dryers and bath sheets.
